Estradiol
Estradiol is used as a treatment for symptoms arising from menopause including vaginal dryness, burning or itching, hot flashes, vaginal or vulval atrophy, and preventing osteoporosis (bone thinning). It works as estrogen replacement therapy, and may also be prescribed if the ovaries fail or to offer relief from the symptoms of breast cancer. |
